Years playing drums - In all started at a garage sale…there it was….A Blue Sparkle 3 piece drumset….Wow!!!…no cymbals included. Been playing since the second grade…..age 8. Took private lessons for 8 years. Thanks Mom & Dad! Did all the school orchestra and band stuff. Never played in the marching band due to soccer commitments. Played in various High School and College bands. I love Drums! Drums love me!

Musical influences - Besides…..Alex Van Halen, Tommy Lee, Buddy Rich, Steve Smith, Terry Bozzio, Carter Beauford, Eric Kretz, Robert Sweet, Neil Peart, Matt Frenettte, Jimmy D’Anda, Phil Collins, Stewart Copeland, Tommy Aldridge, Tico Torres ….the list goes on…. Anything that was on MTV (24/7) back in the 80’s helped shape and make me who I am today! Whenever I see a drummer on TV, on tape, live in concert, whatever….I try and take a little snap shot of what they’re playing and make it a part of me…..OK – Now add it to how I play. I listen to it all….never restricting myself to a certain style or kind of music. It’s all good! You just never know who you’re going to be playing for next…..right? Blues? Rock? Alternative? Heavy Metal? Jazz? Always growing……never restricting oneself……being open to all kinds of music…..And having fun with it!
